Lord, I Will Not Be Silent Anymore
Following the training Rupa began to visit some of the Hindu families she knew. She did not go to argue or to condemn them, but to love them, listen to them, and share stories of Jesus with gentleness and respect. She told them how God had changed her own life and shared simple Bible stories of His love, forgiveness, and power to save. God moved in wonderful ways. In that short time, three people opened their hearts to the Lord. They listened to the message, felt God speaking to them, and decided to put their trust in Jesus. Rupa was amazed and humbled.
She said, “I used to think I was too weak and too afraid, but through Bridges training God gave me courage and practical tools. Now I see that when I simply obey and share His story, He does the miracle in people’s hearts.”
Today, Rupa continues to work among Hindu people with confidence and joy. She knows that the same God who helped her bring three people to the Lord in one week can continue to touch many more lives through her simple obedience. All glory be to God, who turns fear into boldness and makes His light shine in the darkest places.”
Reaching Unreached People Groups
The transforming power of God’s Word through Story! As we continue to receive many testimonials like this one, I am amazed by the fact that approximately 91% of our Bridges training events include participants who are reaching out to unreached people groups (UPGs). This means that nine out of every ten of the hundreds of SIU Bridges training events held each year include those reaching out to UPGs across Africa and Asia!
Our partners are pioneering in so many new areas that it feels as though the Lord is saying to them, “Go here, go there, go everywhere!” We are obeying and trusting our Lord, believing He will provide the funding to continue this great work.
Will you join us in this effort to help our partners reach the lost living in oral cultures?
Tragic Imbalance
Have you heard: approximately 1.7% of charitable giving each year goes to missions in the hardest-to-reach places around the world? (source: https://www.thetravelingteam.org/money-and-missions/). Less than 2%! That’s a tragedy. These hard-to-reach places are where the unreached, those people who have NEVER heard about Jesus and His gift of salvation, live and breathe each day. Many of these live in extreme poverty as well. This sad financial fact means the vast majority of resources are NOT making a difference in the lives of the least reached people groups, those who need Jesus and the transforming message of the Gospel the most.
How can this be changed?
YOU can play a key role in changing this tragic imbalance by supporting our pioneering, proven partners in Asia and Africa with a year-end financial gift to SIU. Our partners and their networks of believers are actively reaching out to the least reached across Africa and Asia.
The partnership of faithful donors like you, our SIU team, and our international partners leads to kingdom multiplication: new believers and new churches planted. Would you partner with SIU to reach the unreached?
Multiplication Continues
Twenty indigenous leaders trained in SIU’s orality toolkit, historically and conservatively, have led to at least 60 new believers and 12 new house churches over the following year! The multiplication continues 100-fold or more, creating Spirit-led movements.
Please help us to accelerate this movement NOW. The time is right. God is providing windows of opportunity for kingdom impact across the harvest fields among oral cultures.
Financially partner with SIU through a recurring donation or a special gift:
- $29 per month will sponsor one indigenous leader each year.
- $299 per month will sponsor one SIU Bridges training event each year.
- $589 per month will sponsor training for a group of 20 local leaders each year.
- Sponsor one local leader – $350
- Sponsor one Bridges Training event – $3500
- Sponsor the full training of a group of 20 Local Leaders – $7000
Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
