A Foundation Challenge

These newly assigned champions for SIU were highly committed to developing a new, enhanced relationship with us. Through many zoom sessions and phone interactions, over a period of about six months, they got acquainted with our vision, mission and model. As a result, the Lord rewarded these efforts with a sizable grant award! This new training grant funding is providing funds for our partners in Southeast Asia to carry out further training with leaders in their regions, resulting in many more people hearing God’s story. As a part of this grant award, they initiated a new funding challenge. They will match, dollar for dollar, all gifts given by new, first-time donors to our Mission over the next twelve months up to $20,000!

We are so grateful for this matching giving challenge. Now we need YOUR HELP! Would you be willing to share this email with your friends and family, extending this unique opportunity with those who have never financially supported SIU?

Amazing Impact

As I’ve often mentioned, SIU is probably the most unique, highest return on investment ministry I have seen in my 56 years of life. It’s the Jesus Model of the 1st century and it’s happening now in the 21st century, with scalability and reproducibility at its core. See my May blog for stories and impact from the field. The impact numbers we have shared with you over the years are conservative and we have no idea how many new believers we will see with our Lord due to the Bridges equipping and training approach.

As you seek the Spirit’s guidance, would you consider sharing this message and new funding challenge with others?

Thank you for your prayers. We are so grateful for each of you as we seek to finish the task of the Great Commission among oral cultures.

About Kent Kiefer

Kent Kiefer is the CEO & Executive Director of Scriptures in Use (SIU). Kent has a heart and passion for “reaching the unreached” and believes strongly that the oral arts, communication bridges training approach designed specifically for the indigenous men and women of peace around the world is one of the most effective means to reach the nations with the Gospel.

Kent is widowed after his wife Melissa (“Missy”) was promoted into Glory in November 2021 after a 14-year battle with Parkinsons Disease, and has four children (all college age young adults). The Kiefers are involved with two local churches with the body of Christ in Southeast Tucson (“Grace Church of Sahuarita” and “Pantano Christian”).
